ONC BOCES LPN Training

ONC BOCES has started taking applications for their 2023-2024 LPN training program.

 
 
The training starts in late August 2023 and ends in June 2024. Military veterans and unemployed youth (18 to 24) may be eligible for a Rural Healthcare Grant of $2,000.00. 
 
Costs:
Tuition: 2023-2024 $15,500.00 per year**
Application Exam Fee: $100.00 (non-refundable) includes cost of entrance exam (TEAS)
Intent to enroll: $125.00 (non-refundable)
Books: Chrome book with e-books included in tuition 
Uniforms: Included with the exception of a stethoscope, white nursing shoes, and a watch with a second's hand
Capping Expense: Included in tuition
Graduation Expense: Included in tuition, with the exception of white uniform for graduation ceremony. 
Pre-Licensure NCLEX examination: Included in tuition

Paid CNA Training Class in New Berlin

Chase Memorial Nursing Home and Rehab has a PAID Certified Nurse Assistant training class in New Berlin starting in January!

Position Details:

Paid CNA Training Class, Monday - Thursday, 8am-1pm during class and lab days; 7am-2pm during clinicals. Class begins January 16, 2023

Basic Function: The primary purpose of the position is to provide an opportunity for individuals to be trained to become Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of New York. 

Responsibilities:

The Certified Nursing Assistant trainee position provides quality training in a classroom, lab, and clinical setting in order to pass the New York state authorized competency evaluation program within 10 days of successfully completion of the clinical skills examination and the written or oral multiple choice examination under the direct supervision of the clinical supervisor.

DCMO BOCES will be offering a CNA Class from 11/28/2022 to 2/1/2023.The Rural Healthcare Grant can help fund the CNA class' tuition for unemployed youth (ages 18 to 24) and Military Veterans!
