The next class will start on May 5th and run Monday – Friday 8am-3:30pm on class days and 7am-2:30pm for clinical days.

Students will get a schedule on the first day of classes from the instructor.

Attendance is mandatory and students are not able to miss any classes; if they do, they will be removed from the program.

Beginner Workshop: February 26, 2025, Thursday from 9:30AM-12PM

• This workshop is for beginners to learn the fundamentals of Excel and requires no prior experience.
• You will learn how to navigate the Excel interface and learn all the steps to create a sample Profit and Loss Statement from scratch.
  Course Learning Outcomes: 
• Understand the features of a spreadsheet
• Enter data
• Use basic formulas and commands Format for printing

Intermediate Workshop: February 26, 2025, Thursday from 1:30PM to 4PM

• Pre-requisite: Excel Fundamentals Workshop or exposure to Excel files created by others.
• Learn some tips, tricks, and tools in Excel to improve productivity and analyze data in Excel.
  Learning Outcomes:
• Productivity Tips (Navigation, Filtering, Sorting, delete blank rows)
  Data Analysis Tools (Data Validation, Conditional Formatting, Formulas and Functions)Introduction to Macros

Tuesday 1/14/25 at 2pm Civil Service Workshop
Learn about civil service opportunities at the county, city, and state
level. We will also take a look at federal jobs and how they differ.
Participants will learn about the exam, application, and hiring process and be provided with some tips and best practices to help when
applying.

Tuesday 1/21/25 at 2pm Interviewing Skills Workshop
Learn what to expect, how to prepare, what the interviewer expects
from you, and more.

Tuesday 1/28/25 at 2pm Resume Writing
This workshop will help you understand the purpose of a resume, review concepts in building a resume, and discuss how to effectively convey your talents.
