Position Summary:

SUNY Oneonta is seeking a Workforce Development Program Coordinator to join the Extended and Community Learning (ExCL) Center. The coordinator will represent SUNY Oneonta and the ExCL Center by advancing the University’s mission as a trusted regional leader and valued community partner. This position plays a key role in addressing community needs in education, economic development, and workforce readiness through responsive, high-quality programming and engagement. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, community-minded professional with strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, who thrives in both collaborative and independent environments. This role requires regular interaction with the community, regional partners, learners, and university personnel.
