The Food Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting and enforcing the company's food safety and Quality Assurance Program. Job Title: Lead Infant Teacher in Oneonta, NY
Job Description:
Lead Infant Teacher Qualifications: Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field. (or any other minimum education and experience qualifications for the Head of Group for toddlers as outlined in the NYS regulations 418-1.13 Staff Qualifications.) Responsibilities: Supervisor: The Lead Infant Teacher is responsible for the supervision of Assistant Teachers and Teachers Aides that comprise the classroom team. She/He must monitor the job performance of team members and provide guidance and feedback as necessary to ensure that center policies and guidelines are followed. Specified tasks include, but are not limited to: Give team members on-going guidance as necessary to implement classroom and center-wide programs and to adhere to center policies and guidelines. Define specific tasks in advance, making sure the more "unpleasant" tasks are shared among team members. Meet with team members privately as necessary to give feedback and suggest alternatives. Actively participate in the annual evaluations of your team, yourself and the office staff. Attempt to resolve problems, conflicts, etc. with team members first, before bring it to the attention of the Owner. Programmer: The Lead Infant Teacher is responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans with the team which will promote the children's physical, cognitive a social/emotional growth. The program shall include a balance between structured and un-structured time, indoor and outdoor activities, and nap and play. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to: Formulate with team and hand in weekly lesson plans/newletters to the Director; carry out the daily activities. Demonstrate awareness of the programming needs of the center as a whole by cooperating with the entire staff in sharing equipment and ideas. Prepare materials in advance. Lead the daily on-going program. Confer with the Owner about changes, programming and problems. Refer individual children to the Owner who may need extra services from outside agencies, etc. Talk with parents on a daily basis if needed to share information. Share pertinent information or concerns about individual children with team members, while adhering to the confidentiality policy. Confer with team formally on a regular basis at a team meeting to discuss planning, individual children and concerns of individual team members or concerns about the room in general. Attend staff meetings with your team. Adhere to all classroom guidelines.

Job Title: Assistant Infant Ass. Toddler Teacher in Oneonta, NY
Job Description:
Responsibilities for all Assistants: The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher throughout the day in the child care and educational activities, including participation in planning such activities. She/He takes sole responsibility for children and staff in the group when necessary; i.e. in the absence of the Lead Teacher. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Share pertinent information or concerns about individual children with team members, while adhering to the confidentiality policy. Attempt to resolve problems, conflicts, etc. with team member first, before bringing them to the attention of the Administrator. Give direction to substitutes, as needed. Take responsibility for a small group at group time. Accept the philosophy and programming techniques of the center and learn to work as a team. Assist in the care of classroom and supplies. Attend staff meetings. Attend parent meetings when requested. Be informed about the status of each child and his/her family so that even causal contacts with parents can represent a consistent approach on the part of the center. Assist the Lead Teacher at evaluation (developmental progress reports) as needed. Share the more "unpleasant" tasks with team members. Do anything else the Lead Teacher deems necessary for the good of the children and the classroom.
