***This event supports recruitment efforts in the Southern Tier Region of NY.  This includes Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, and Broome counties***

There will be a preview day on Wednesday, September 21st, where jobseekers can view content and job postings and prepare themselves for the “live” event.  The Virtual Career Fair will go live on September 22nd from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Norwich CDO Workforce is hosting an in-person recruitment event at the Norwich CDO Workforce Center on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

All job seekers are welcome to stop by the Center at 1 O’Hara Drive in Norwich to speak with representatives from these great local companies about their current job opportunities and benefits of employment with them.

Amphenol Aerospace is located at 40-60 Delaware Avenue, Sidney, NY, and describes itself as: “one of the largest manufacturers of interconnect products in the world for the Military, Commercial Aerospace and Industrial markets.” They are currently hiring: Machine Operators, Engineers, Product Managers, Journeymen Tool-Makers, a Marketing Communications Specialist and a Customer Service Representative.

Willow Run Foods is located at 1006 US-11, Kirkwood, NY, and describes itself as: the “Northeast and Mid - Atlantic's premier fast food systems distributor. Serving customers in 14 states, we provide one-stop-shopping for our chain restaurant operators while focusing on building customer relationships and providing service that is second to none.” They are currently hiring: Dispatchers, CDL-A Drivers, Warehouse Workers, and Maintenance Workers.

Free Women-Focused Job Fair: July 27th

Our Workforce Development Board's Women in Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Occupations (WANTO) grant program FREE virtual job fair will take place on Wednesday, July 27, from 11:00am to 1:00pm.


This program is available to businesses and job seekers in the following counties: Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Montgomery, Oneida, Onondaga, Otsego, Schoharie, St. Lawrence, Tioga and Tompkins counties.

The Women in Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Occupations grant helps recruit, train, and retain women in quality pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs, and encourages them to pursue apprenticeships and non-traditional occupations. Non-traditional occupations are occupations where women make up 25% or less of the workforce, including but not limited to: trades, information technology (IT), advanced manufacturing, transportation, public safety, agriculture, and more.
