NYS Tax Credits Available for Eligible Businesses

New York Youth Jobs Program 

The New York Youth Jobs Program, formerly called New York Youth Works, encourages businesses to hire unemployed, disadvantaged youth, ages 16 to 24, who live in New York State. This program helps make it easier for youth to find a job and career training path. 

For program year 2018, businesses can earn tax credits of up to $7,500 for eligible youth starting work between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018.

Businesses in Chenango, Delaware or Otsego County who would like to participate in this program must apply before November 30, 2018.
