Department: Extended and Community Learning (ExCL) Center
Reports To: Director of the ExCL Center
Location: SUNY Oneonta, Downtown ExCL Center
Appointment Type: Full-Time, Professional Staff
Salary: SL3, $57,151

Position Summary:

SUNY Oneonta is seeking a Workforce Development Program Coordinator to join the Extended and Community Learning (ExCL) Center. The coordinator will represent SUNY Oneonta and the ExCL Center by advancing the University’s mission as a trusted regional leader and valued community partner. This position plays a key role in addressing community needs in education, economic development, and workforce readiness through responsive, high-quality programming and engagement. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, community-minded professional with strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, who thrives in both collaborative and independent environments. This role requires regular interaction with the community, regional partners, learners, and university personnel. While much of the work occurs at the downtown ExCL Center and SUNY Oneonta’s main campus, occasional travel within the tri-county area is required. The position involves both office-based work and event coordination in dynamic settings.
