The CDO Workforce Development Board, Inc. is recruiting for a Disability Resource Coordinator (DRC) to be based in Norwich or Oneonta, NY.

  • Desired Qualifications, willing to train the right person:
  • Strong belief in the ability and right of individuals with disabilities to work in their communities
  • Bachelors degree required or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Three to five years experience working with underserved populations
  • Knowledge of equal opportunity and non-discrimination employment laws
  • Willingness to expand knowledge of SSA work incentives and benefits through provided training & certification
  • Familiarity with local disability-related agencies and resources
  • Program management knowledge, including sustainability planning and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of job search strategies and ability to teach them
  • Computer and digital literacy, including remote meeting facilitation

Can work in either Norwich or Oneonta, good benefits, matching retirement funding (up to 3%), 14 paid holidays, 2 weeks vacation. Salary $50,000 - $55,000 depending on experience.
