SNOWSPORTS INSTRUCTORS – SKI & SNOWBOARD
Do you have impressive skills in skiing or riding? Love working with people? The Snowsports Team could be for you, where you’ll teach both children and adults to ski and snowboard. Knowledge of skiing/riding and ski slopes needed. Instructor Training Course (ITC) is required for all new hires.
ADAPTIVE SKI & SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS
Teach both children and adults with disabilities to ski or snowboard. Knowledge of skiing/riding and ski slopes needed. Instructor Training Course (ITC) is required for all new hires.
TERRAIN PARK ATTENDANTS
”Crew” is the main word here! Spend your winter building and maintaining the terrain park features where all the shredding magic happens. You’ll also work with mountain operations. Knowledge of skiing/riding and ski slopes needed.
LIFT OPERATORS & LIFT ATTENDANTS
Assist guests with safe, efficient, and courteous loading and unloading of lifts. Attendants are responsible for maintaining ramps as well as scanning season passes and lift tickets. Knowledge of Belleayre a plus.
SNOWMAKERS
As a Snowmaker you’ll check snowmaking equipment (valves, water lines, etc.) and reposition snow guns on the mountain. Enjoy the bragging rights that YOU play an integral part in why the trails are so awesome at Belleayre. On-site training available.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Belleayre Ski Area, an ORDA managed facility, is in search of a seasonal Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a fast-paced office team at a busy recreational, training, and competition facility. Primary responsibilities include, assisting staff with daily office functions; and providing general clerical support to the administrative office. This position reports directly to the Belleayre Human Resources and will work directly with ORDA administrative staff.
SNOW REPORTER
As a snow reporter, you get to be the voice of the mountain. That, of course, may mean first tracks on a powder day! Responsibilities include updating & distributing the daily snow reporting across several outlets, video shoots as an on-camera personality, be pretty good with a camera, and most importantly be a morning person. Working knowledge of photo and video editing software is needed.
TICKET SELLERS
Have you been told you’re a people person? Well, that’s what we are looking for in our ticket sellers! Sell lift tickets, season passes, frequent skier products and lessons; answer phones, and rock your excellent customer service skills. Position requires knowledge of computers.
RESERVATION AGENT
Love the outdoors but looking to work inside? We have that too! Reservationists are responsible for booking group sales, group lessons, private lessons and other packages for individuals over the phone or in person with guests. Must be detail-oriented, have a personable phone demeanor and will require to work on the front-line.
CAREGIVERS
Caregivers help assist with kiddos enrolled in the Kidscamp program. Duties include help get the children ready to go out on snow, escort kids in and out of the building to designated teaching areas, help serve lunch and snacks at breaks, and possibly be on snow with lessons. Skiing/riding is not required for this position.
GROOMERS
Groom trails and operates snowcats, primarily at night. Heavy equipment experience preferred knowledge of skiing/riding and ski slopes needed.
PARKING ATTENDANTS
Give our guests a warm welcome while assisting them with instructions for parking. Other duties include: keeping parking areas clean and orderly.
BUILDING MAINTENANCE
Assist with keeping our buildings in tip-top shape for our guests. Job duties include janitorial work, cleaning lodges, and snow removal.
SHUTTLE BUS OPERATORS
Transport our guests from parking lots to Lodges. Must have a valid driver’s license with a minimum of CDL Class B.
SECURITY
The security department is responsible for the safety of employees, guests, and the property. Security patrols the grounds, intervene in situations with guests, staff, and others as necessary, and assist in all money movement throughout and outside of the resort.
MOUNTAIN HOSTS (AMBASSADORS)
Mountain hosts provide service in a variety of areas including greeting and providing information to guests, assist with special events on and off the snow, greeting group tour buses, and administering guest surveys. The most important jobs our mountain hosts have been to send the Belleayre guests off with a smile on their face and to help them have a great experience on the mountain. This is a non-paid position and all members must complete 100 hours per season.
SKI PATROL
As a ski patroller, you are responsible to promote on hill skier safety, educating guests of the Skier’s and Rider’s Responsibility Code, provide pre-hospital emergency care, opening/closing trails, and removing hazards off trails. Ski patrol is a highly visible role on the mountain, and a great deal of guest interaction is required.

Centerplate is Belleayre’s on-mountain concessionaire and managers the rentals, retail, and food & beverage operations for the mountain.
