ABLE National Resource Center - This website provides information about ABLE programs and activities, including the tax-advantaged ABLE savings accounts. The National Disability Institute created this guide on ABLE Accounts, which explains the basics of ABLE savings accounts.
Alternative Financing Programs (AFPs) - This program provides loans for assistive technology devices and services for people with disabilities and their family members.
Disability Supplemental Guide to Hands on Banking - National Disability Institute created this guide with career and financial resources that can help young adults with disabilities overcome challenges.
National Disability Institute Assistive Technology Loan Program - This project provides affordable loans for assistive technology, including home and/or vehicle modifications, hearing or vision devices, adaptive business equipment, and more.

Benefits Planning Overview - National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability for Youth created this overview of government assistance programs for youth with disabilities.
Y-TAC SSI Youth Toolkit - The Vocational Rehabilitation Youth Technical Assistance Center (Y-TAC) has prepared a Just-In-Time Toolkit that includes facts about Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits. There is also information about developing assets through an ABLE account or Special Needs Trust.
SSI & SSDI - These two government programs provide assistance to people with disabilities. While these two programs are different, they are managed by the Social Security Administration. Only individuals who have a disability and meet medical criteria may qualify for benefits under either program.
Disability Benefits Counseling Services - The Social Security Administration provides counseling on public benefits to individuals who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Childhood Disability Benefits (CDB), or Disabled Widow(er) Benefits (DWB). Counseling services include guidance about ways to reach career and financial goals.
